RE: Hadoop-Hbase latest releases compatibility
Also wanted to confirm that is Hadoop 0.20.205 is same as Hadoop 1.0.0 . I have read it at some places that Hadoop0.20.205 is renamed to Hadoop 1.0.0

I am using Hadoop 0.20.205 + HBase -0.90.5 in production.
Both are working fine with each other.
Thanks,

hadoop-1.0.0 has more content than hadoop-0.20.205, most are critical fixes and some are performance fixes.
One in particular, 'local read shortcut' is very nice for HBase (in non-secure mode).
