[jira] [Comment Edited] (INFRA-6654) AOO 4.1 dist options

Re: 4.0.1

The "exclude from" list is now in placed and used in module
"[apache-dist]" in "rsyncd.conf" :
exclude from = /root/bin/www/ooo.rsync.conf

It now (only) contains :
/openoffice/4.0.1

When 4.0.1 is available, it can be copied into "dist/openoffice/4.0.1/" ;
Then, the contents of the exclude-list should then be changed to :
/openoffice/4.0.0
/openoffice/4.0.1/source
/openoffice/4.0.1/binaries/lang1
/openoffice/4.0.1/binaries/lang2
...

During the week after release-date, the '/source', '/lang1', '/lang2' lines
should be slowly removed, say 4 to 5 per day ; "/source" first.
After a change, a restart of rsyncd is not needed.

Note: 4.0.1 will have more languages than 4.0.0 ; the list should not be
based on 4.0.0.

Note: at release date, all checksums and sigs will have to be available
from www.apache.org/dist/openoffice ; so the whole distro has to be there.

SF will pick up the 4.0.1 from dist/openoffice/4.0.1 ; a dedicated rsync
module "[SF-aoo-401-bin]" must be created ; SF is "binaries/ only"
[I'm fine with changing that, because it makes things simpler].
SF will pick up "by hand" on request ; see private comment next.

If/when references to source and sums+sigs for 4.0.0 have been changed
from "www.apache.org/" to "archive.apache.org/", the "openoffce/4.0.0/"
file-tree can be removed from "www.apache.org/dist/".
