Java 17 Support?

May I ask if there are any plans to support Java 17 in a future version of
Flink?

I see this ticket, but it is inactive:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-15736

There are several Java 17 features that would help in writing+supporting
Flink applications. Thank you :)

Yes, Java 11 has been supported since Flink 1.10 [1]

Hi Clayton,

Yes, there are plans to support Java 17. This is dependent on us dropping
support for Java 8. You can find more in the discussion thread on
deprecating Java 8 support [1].
