Running FOP with gij

Hi,

about a year ago, I tried running FOP with gij for the first
time (and failed :-); cf.
<UR...@lockfix.tim-landscheidt.de>).

Today, I had some time to play around with this combina-
tion again (although gij experienced some updates in the
meantime - basically I'm using Fedora Core 2 (gij 3.3.3)
now).

The result (failure :-)) has remained the same, but the
error is different this time (simple.fo is part of the
examples):

| CLASSPATH=~/src/fop-0.20.5/build/fop.jar:/usr/share/java/xmlParserAPIs-2.2.1.jar:~/src/fop-0.20.5/lib/avalon-framework-cvs-20020806.jar:~/src/fop-0.20.5/lib/batik.jar:/usr/share/java/xalan-2.4.1.jar:/usr/share/java/xercesImpl-2.2.1.jar gij org.apache.fop.apps.Fop -fo simple.fo -pdf simple.pdf
| Abgebrochen

("Abgebrochen" = "Aborted".) Using the Xalan-J and Xerces-J
jars provided with FOP does not help either.

Has anyone else tested FOP running with gij and gained any
insight? Unfortunately, I have no idea how to start debug-
ging.

TIA,
Tim

I haven't tested running with gij, but if you add a '-d' command line
option, the output should become more verbose. Maybe something will come up
that makes us a bit wiser...

Hope this helps!

Greetz,

Andreas
