[jira] Created: (JAMES-917) Session Sensitive Context Based Logging
Session Sensitive Context Based Logging
-----------------------------------------
Key: JAMES-917
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-917
Project: JAMES Server
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: SMTPServer
Affects Versions: 3.0
Reporter: Robert Burrell Donkin
Assignee: Robert Burrell Donkin
Fix For: 3.0
ATM James has service sensitive logging: the components that compose SMTP server log to that service. However, this logging is not sensitive to the session or handler context.
Session sensitive context logging would prefix each message with session and handler information by replacing the avalon logging with a commons Log associated with the session.
