Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: JS2-112
Summary: Use multiproject to simplify build and show missing module dependencies
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

    Project: Jetspeed 2
 Components:
             Project Build

   Assignee:
   Reporter: David Jencks

    Created: Wed, 1 Sep 2004 8:22 PM
    Updated: Wed, 1 Sep 2004 8:23 PM
Environment: all

Description:
The attached patch slims down the top level maven.xml file.

I can't see any reason to exclude any modules. Including cornerstone stuff showed there is a missing dependency from cornerstone-jmx-demo to cornerstone.

The build order shows the layout portlets and taglib being built last. This seems implausible to me, so I suggest an expert verify there are no missing dependencies.
