FtpServer 1.0.0-M3 released

The Apache MINA project is pleased to announce the release of
FtpServer 1.0.0-M3.

This release contains mostly bug fixes and minor feature enhancements.

We welcome you to try it out. We have tried to make it simple both to
embed within your application as well as running it standalone.

Feedback on feature requests, bugs or questions are most welcome at
our mailing lists.

The latest release is now available here:
http://mina.apache.org/ftpserver/downloads.html

A list of all the resolved issues for this this release is available here :
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10571&styleName=Html&version=12313104

This is a milestone release and is not yet considered suitable for
production use. At least one more milestone release will be made
before the end game to 1.0. Thus, the API will go through some
breaking changes before being fully stable.

Thanks !

Not at the moment. I'm not even sure if we will do the JSecurity stuff
before 1.0, we have to investigate how smooth the integration would be
first.

For M4, my focus will be on further bug fixing and doing the package
restructuring and OSGi support. And, maybe JSecurity if I get the time
and no one else does it first :-)

Hi Niklas,

I'm happy to get a first official release including fixes for the
problem I reported :-)

In the milestone plan you sent in June, 1.0-M3 release was supposed to
integrate JSecurity.
Have you any plan in mind for the delayed features/changes like this
one?
(Since I will have to adapt my code, I would like to know when the
JSecurity integration will occur.)

Thanks,
Olivier
