[jira] [Commented] (SSHD-845) sftp create symlink failed

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SSHD-845?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16622247#comment-16622247 ]

Goldstein Lyor commented on SSHD-845:
-------------------------------------

It is difficult to understand what is the purpose of the "middleman". However, from your own description the problem lies somewhere in your middleman since without it everything seems to work in order. Therefore, this is not a bug...

I suggest

* Try version 2.0 (I am not sure, but there may have been some issues with SFTP)
* Debug your code - the whole "middleman" seems suspect - if you are trying to "bridge" some SSH session then it takes more than what I see in the code - especially for SFTP/SCP...

> I use SSHD as a middleman between client and target sftp server.
> I use winscp to connect my middleman.
> my middleman source code is here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12916355/Main.java
> And I found two interesting issues:
> # The root directory has no file named `a` or `b`. When I use winscp to create a symlink `a` pointing to `b`. I expected created a file named `a`. Actually it created a file named `b`. Without my middleman, It goes as my expected.
> # When I try to delete a symlink file without target file in winscp, it failed. Without my middleman, it will be successful.
