[GitHub] [apisix] tutuV opened a new issue #6628: how do I get the ip and port of the service in upstream
tutuV opened a new issue #6628:
URL: https://github.com/apache/apisix/issues/6628
### Description
I use Apisix's service discovery mechanism with Consul's DNS discovery.
I want to use the proxy mode in microservices, so I get the service by accessing Apisix, which is expected to have some scheduling policy.
There are some internal GRPC and TCP services that cannot be accessed by route. I'd like to know if there's any way to get information about these services.
### Environment
apisix-helm-chart 0.8.2
consul 1.11.4

I don't find the right API at https://apisix.apache.org/zh/docs/apisix/admin-api
This API /apisix/admin/upstreams/{id} doesn't work either. Maybe it's because I used the DNS service for discovery .

I would like to have an API that returns a node of the service, according to some load balancing algorithm. Or how I could do that.

@tokers That's ok. As long as the node information of the service can be obtained (according to the scheduling algorithm). Not finding the right API, or how can I modify Apisix

So you want to get the service discovery result from APISIX (in memory)?

The discovery module exports control APIs, for the Consule, you can access endpoint `/show_dump_file` to see the details.
See https://apisix.apache.org/docs/apisix/next/control-api learn Control API.
See https://github.com/apache/apisix/blob/master/docs/en/latest/discovery/consul_kv.md#debugging-api learn the endpoint, but it's designed for debugging. Not sure if it can satisfy your needs.
