[jira] Created: (INFRA-1003) SpamAssassin Bugzilla new user account
mail is not delivered
SpamAssassin Bugzilla new user account mail is not delivered
------------------------------------------------------------
Key: INFRA-1003
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1003
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Bugzilla, Mail (qmail)
Reporter: Daryl C. W. O'Shea
When a user creates a new account on the SpamAssassin Bugzilla, the mail with their password never arrives. Testing myself, there are no connection attempts made to my MXes to deliver this mail. The same thing happens if the user tries to use the "request to change password" link on the Bugzilla login page.
All other mail from the SpamAssassin Bugzilla appears to work fine (bug comments, changes, etc), arriving immediately.
This was first reported to us on Oct 24/06 on the users@spamassassin list.

-------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Coincidentally, I remembered about this and checked it last night, then proceeded to forget to close this -- sorry about that. It appears to be working fine now.

Sander Temme commented on INFRA-1003:
-------------------------------------
Does this problem still exist? We restarted Postfix on the box later that day, which appears to have solved a lot of mail problems with both Bugzilla and JIRA.
