newbie problem

Dear struts developpers:

I am new to Struts, just downloaded the struts-1.0.1 src and have successfully built it (hopefully). I have run ant target
deploy.catalina, it seems fine. the struts-example directory is under the webapps directory of tomcat4.0.1, however, when I try to
access the struts-example by
        http://localhost/struts-example
I got the message: The request resource (/struts-example) is not available.
Could you tell me what I missing?
I read the INSTALL.txt, it tells me to modify the file: tomcat-apache.conf, but I can't find this file under tomcat4.0.1's conf
directory.

Thank you very much in advance!

richard
