[users@httpd] Perfomance testing

Hi,
I have Apache installed on a FreeBSD machine on my local netowrk.
I want to make some perfomance tests.
For example I want to make some changes in the configuration file and see how these changes could affect performance.

Basically I'll request a page and I'll see how much it takes to serve.
It's important to simulate high-traffic loads.

Is there inside Apache some tools to do that ?
Any program from outside ?
Any ideas ?

The test machine will run Win2000pro.
