Tim Armstrong resolved IMPALA-5610.

Resolution: Later
It would be useful to have a mechanism to do this but we don't have any flags to apply it to right now.

> We currently have a number of deprecated flags that have no effect, e.g. many of the llama flags. We will also be deprecating the old aggs and joins in a similar way.
> We should warn if any of these flags are set to a non-default value so that it's clearer that they did not have the intended effect.
