Using ant task to deploy services

Hi,

I managed to run some examples using a 'manual' method to install them
into axis. I used javac and adminClient directly to compile and deploy
examples contained in axis distribution.

Now I want to use ant to do it. There are build.xml files shipped with
examples. I tried the echo example for the start.

ant compile gives a set of directories in within my development tree
and compiles the code w/o problems.

But I would like to use other task to deploy the service, install the
classes and maybe even reload axis, so the service would be available
immediately.

ant -projecthelp list available tasks, the adminClient task among them.
ant -v adminClient reports:

adminClient:
Skipped because property 'admin.file.exists' not set.

This property is supposed to be set in ../../mxls/targets.xml

I'm not that familiar with ant to guess how to set it, but

ant -v -Dadmin.file=deploy.wsdd adminClient

doesn't do any good. Is the admin client task not designed to be called
directly? ant deploy seems to be an empty target. I assume that files
like targets .xml are designed to suit all examples so they should not
be altered. One could possibly add more functionality to the echo's
build.xml file ?

     any help will be appreciated

solved:
  from echo directory:

ant -v -Dadmin.file=deploy.wsdd -Dadmin.file.exists=true adminClient

Does the job.
