Lucene - renameTo bug

Hello everyone,

I am sorry to ask off topic question.

I wanted to use Lucene for my search requirement. But while indexing  I am
getting IOException : coudnt rename segments.new to segments.....

They have clearly written comments that if the jvm fails to rename they do it
manually. But even it fails.....

If some one is using Lucene 1.3 please help me...... I am stuck up and have no
clue to move farward.
