Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AXISCPP-152
Summary: Runtime trace flag
Type: New Feature
Status: Closed
Priority: Major
Resolution: FIXED
Project: Axis-C++
Components:
Basic Architecture
Versions:
1.3 Beta
Assignee: Mark Whitlock
Reporter: John Hawkins
Created: Mon, 6 Sep 2004 9:38 AM
Updated: Tue, 21 Sep 2004 8:41 AM
Due: Thu, 30 Sep 2004 12:00 AM
Description:
We would like the ability to turn trace on and off using a runtime flag.
This would mean that if the #debug was set during compilation time that the trace would only come on if the trace flag was set in Axiscpp.conf.
The ability to turn trace on and off at runtime is very important. we cannot expect a client who is running a large application in production to switch code to a debug version of the code.
