I don't think that PORTING is really necessary any longer.  Any
objections to deleting it entirely?

I guess. It would be nice if we had an up-to-date list, but that's
really what svn-breakage is for.

By the way, if more people contributed to that, life would be great. I
even have the scripts ready for testing ra_local-and ra_svn on Unix-like
boxen; see tools/test-scripts/svntest.
