[jira] [Commented] (PDFBOX-1061) PDFBox can't correctly extract
text after bullet punctuation
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-1061?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13100192#comment-13100192 ]
Funfel commented on PDFBOX-1061:
--------------------------------
I solved this problem or should say I worked around it by building a map for Identity-H marked fonts/textpositions (these were after bullet punctuation) and replacing 'strange' character with proper ones. It was kind of decipher or decode work based on original text.
But is there a better solution?
If not this bug can be marked as closed, but I'm not sure if it's resolved :/

> PDFBox can't correctly extract text after bullet punctuation.
> After a bullet punctuation whole line gets strange encoding, but the next line is correct.
> Probably some font/encoding problem.
> (tested on ver. 1.5.0, 1.6.0, 1.7.0-SNAPSHOT)
