Distributions page, Mac OS X

Hi

Could somebody with access to the website of subversion change the text
on

<http://subversion.tigris.org/project_packages.html>

for the Mac OS X fink package to include the following (or similar)
text:

"The svn Fink package is still in the unstable tree. To enable it
please read the Fink FAQ."
Where 'FAQ' is a link to:
<http://fink.sourceforge.net/faq/usage-fink.php#unstable>

? That would be great.

Also, the Mac OS X logo seems to have a low quality. Maybe somebody
could exchange it with something similar to
<http://www.apple.com.pl/produkty/x.gif>

Thanks,
Chris.

Okay, thanks. Until we have confirmation from them that it's okay,
I'll leave the logo down.

Logos? Lawyers? Pointless trademark licenses? Why, this sounds like a
job for a Product Manager!

I'd be surprised if we have to execute that agreement just to put a logo
on the web page. Apple has an email address for logo questions. I've
sent them a message; let's see what they have to say.

Best,
J

available there (good for one year)."

One of the reasons the license is only good for a year, apparently,
is that they keep changing the image you're allowed to use. The
current one doesn't provide any graphical distinction (only
recommended text) between things for OS X and things for earlier

Apple's policy includes using a different image, so we might be
lawyer-bait already. The rules are at:

Done, thanks!

I don't know what Apple's policy is on copying this image. Apple is
much bigger than I am and can afford more lawyers, so I'd rather not
risk it without explicit permission :-).
