a strange problem about deploy portlet application

Hi all,

    I've a problem about deploy portlet application.
    when I put my portlet application war file into folder
jetspeed/WEB-INF/deploy
    my jetspeed can not complete the portlet application deployment and I
cannot 
    find any error message from console or log file,
    the console just print following message:

     the portlet application war file was be removed from deploy folder and 
     there is a application folder named my portlet application created in
folder webapps
     but the application folder is empty.

     what's happened in my jetspeed?
