[jira] [Commented] (AMBARI-20854) Icons missing after ssl certificate is installed on IE 11

Thomas Mann commented on AMBARI-20854:
--------------------------------------

This behavior can be confirmed for IE11 and HTTPS/SSL Ambari UI and for Ambari Version 2.5.1

"Workaround" to get icons loaded for a session (until a reload done)

=> Click on Admin-Button => Manage Ambari
=> In new View Click inside Clusters Menu on Go To Dashboard
=> Ambari UI gets reloaded with Icons

Details: SSL Certificate is issued for FQDN

If Ambari UI is opened with hostname only (not with a FQDN) and SSL Certificate mismatch is ignored/accepted. Icons are displayed on IE11 properly.

> When SSL certificate is installed on IE 11, the icons on the UI are no longer visible. This does not seem to be an issue on Firefox or Chrome.
