[jira] Created: (TUSCANY-2800) Separate features from the
distributions in the 2.x build
Separate features from the distributions in the 2.x build
---------------------------------------------------------
Key: TUSCANY-2800
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-2800
Project: Tuscany
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: ant elder
Priority: Blocker
Fix For: Java-SCA-2.0-M1
>From the ML:
We might need to separate features (a configuration to group a set of
modules) from the distributions (a package for one or more features to be
distributed). For example, we could have a top-level "features" folder to
contain all the pom projects that define groups for the modules. Then the
"distribution" will only contain the assembly of features to be shipped.

Raymond Feng resolved TUSCANY-2800.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
I created a top-level features folder which contains a set of pom projects that group modules into functional features. Now the distribution references one or more features and defines the assembly part.
