[jira] [Created] (TOBAGO-1523) Improve collapsible concept
Udo Schnurpfeil created TOBAGO-1523:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Improve collapsible concept
Key: TOBAGO-1523
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOBAGO-1523
Project: MyFaces Tobago
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Core, Demo, Themes
Affects Versions: 3.0.0-alpha-2
Reporter: Udo Schnurpfeil
Assignee: Udo Schnurpfeil
It would be nice to have more "collapsible" possibilities.
There are 2 different concepts of "collapsible".
1.) "collapsible" means the content is't relevant and can be ignored (on server and client)
2.) "collapsible" means, the user may not want to see these information, but can be opened immediately and closed for better clarity. But the server validates and may store these information.
The 1.) is alread posiible with the "rendered" attribute. An other aproach is the "collabsible" attribute of tc:box, but most cases are covered with the "rendererd" attribute.
For 2.) we may need a "collapsed" attribute in panel and some JavaScript code. (And also a demo.)
