Fixed at r480913.

Things changed since the original patch:
- Reworked C++ API in more OO fashion;
- Dropped const modifiers in C API for the returned values;
- Fixed a few memory leaks in the original patch;
- Splitted properties implementation and initialization both on headers and code;
- Fixed gc_cc & gc_gen which are missing in the original patch;
- Other minor cleanings.

Please review and report back any issues with the commit; will close the JIRA in few days otherwise.
