Google Summer of Code

Hello,

is there any chance that shindig would take part in the Google Summer of Code
as a mentoring organization?

For the ones interested in GSoC 2008, here is the ASF GSoC 2008 page
[1], this is also the place where Apache projects and podlings can add
their project ideas.

We have also some project ideas for integrating Tuscany and Shindig,
you guys can find more info on Tuscany wiki [2], we should be moving
these ideas to the ASF page soon...

The GSOC list is : code-awards@apache.org. Jukka Zitting was the one
coordinating the efforts last year, not sure the plans for 2008.

To do so you should join the relevant Apache mailing list.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the address. I'd suggest asking on
general@incubator - somone there will know!

On that GSOC list you'll be able to add your projects as official Apache
ones, and function as a mentor for the ASF.
