How (not) to argue your point(s)
A general observation based upon some recent messages, and posted this way
to protect the guilty. :-)

Comments that disparage your audience are not likely to influence them in
your favor. They can fatally damage your presentation regardless of the
facts and logic. People are not computers; psychology matters when you are
trying to induce cooperation.
