Opened the issue on myfaces project since this fully belongs to there. Therefore this issue work becomes "upgrade to myfaces 2.2.12" for TomEE.

Edit: [~0swald], if you can test upgrading tomee myfaces to myfaces snapshot, it should be fixed already
