Stopping Tomcat-Instance not listening on localhost

I have configured tomcat to listen to one specific address and port. I
cannot
stop the instance, because org.apache.tomcat.task.StopTomcat has
'localhost'
as the address to connect hard-coded.

Is this a bug or a feature?
