storm close data flow

I want to accomplish the following request:

Support data flow's self terminating, instead of working 7*24

I think a way to do this is to create a function on nimbus, but I don't know how to do this. 
Spout and Bolt seem not able to do this.

I'm not sure my opinion is right, can you give me some advice?‍
