Janardhan,
Most symbol problems with Perl/C++ extensions are due to a linker mismatch.
You probably need to build the Xerces-C library with the same compiler and
linker that Perl was built with. If you installed a prebuilt version of
Xerces-C, that is probably the problem.
"perl -V" will tell you what compiler and linker settings were used to build
Perl. Use those same settings when you run "runConfigure" during the
Xerces-C build.
If that doesn't help, reply to p-dev@xerces.apache.org
<ma...@xerces.apache.org> and include the output of "perl -V", and
the output from the Xerces-C configure/build and the XML::Xerces build.
Maybe that will help us narrow it down.
