Looks like the patches were never committed properly.
We added this because the new version of Ganglia was filling up disk and we didn't really know why.  Since then the RRD config files have been fixed so this is not really an issue anymore.  Marking this as Won't Fix.

If we can choose a mount that has more than 16 GB of free space its will be great but a warning may be enough for now.
