Thanks for the issue - will fix the Javadoc - please note though that project's [README|https://github.com/apache/mina-sshd/blob/master/README.md] is up-to-date - specifically the [setup a client in 5 minutes|https://github.com/apache/mina-sshd/blob/master/docs/client-setup.md] section - where you can find a correct code snippet.

Specifically for the issue you raised, all you need to do is replace _await_ with _verify_ and the code will work
