If you create a legacy instance of Rya on accumulo, meaning you did not install it via the shell so there is no rya details table, then you will not be able to connect to it through the shell.

Command failed java.lang.RuntimeException: The Rya instance could not be uninstalled. Provided reason: Could not uninstall the Rya instance named 'test_instance' because we could not determine which tables are associated with it.
