moving to subversion

Hi all,

I wanted to let our potential contributers and current developers know 
that Maven 1.x will soon be moving its source code to be stored in 
subversion. I will announce the time when it is known.

I am currently polishing some additional support for the SCM plugin, but 
other than that our support looks covered.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
