Yaroslav commented on KAFKA-7744:
---------------------------------

Hi,

This was already fixed by KAFKA-6157 for 1.0.1 version and above. And sorry, I'm new here, what is the proper flow to resolve such issues as this one? Do we commit in already released branch (like 0.10.0 in this case)? Or should we commit to the active development branch? And what if there is some emergency like some critical CVE? So what should be the proper way to close this issue?

Thanks,

Yaroslav
