[~rockneverdies] did you ever resolve this issue? I'm experiencing the same problem as you here. Running an iPhone only app on an iPad Pro and the icon is not present - it shows the missing icon graphic. Inside the IPA the [83.5@2x.png|mailto:83.5@2x.png] never gets copied across, even though it is in Images.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset correctly.
