[jira] Created: (MJARSIGNER-10) Fails upon unsign

Fails upon unsign
-----------------

                 Key: MJARSIGNER-10
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJARSIGNER-10
Project: Maven 2.x Jar Signer Plugin
          Issue Type: Bug
         Environment: windows xp, maven 2.0.9
            Reporter: Soren Troest

Upon using the <removeExistingSignatures>true</removeExistingSignatures> the plugin fails if no signature is present.

Either the plugin should ignore the fact that a signature hasn't been applied, or there should be a possibility to ignore this explicit.

Benjamin Bentmann closed MJARSIGNER-10.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Incomplete
      Assignee: Benjamin Bentmann

You need to be more precise or better yet provide an example project demonstrating the failure. For instance, where is no signature present and what exact error log is produced.
