Re: HBase Test Failure On Build (3.0beta4)

Thanks to owner of site:

http://akbarahmed.com/2012/08/11/debugging-hbase-unable-to-find-a-viable-location-to-assign-region-root/#comment-191

Solution

sudo vi /etc/hosts

I changed:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 freshstart

to:

#127.0.0.1 localhost
#127.0.1.1 freshstart
192.168.2.15 freshstart
127.0.0.1 localhost

192.168.2.15 is my internal IP address, and freshstart is my hostname.

Re: HBase Test Failure On Build (3.0beta4)

Posted by Merve Temizer <me...@gmail.com>.
I checked out trunk. Tried to mvn clean compile install.
I am getting org.apache.hadoop.hbase.client.RetriesExhaustedException
and
WARN org.apache.hadoop.hbase.master.AssignmentManager - Unable to find a
viable location to assign region

I think you might have some advice.

Hello Merve,

Apache James 5 is not released yet so you should be ok with trunk:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/app/trunk/

Get trunk for all project here: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/current/

Cheers,
