It os one of the most required feature of validator in Struts mailing list. I
lack this feature in my project.
I've seen discussion in:
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=jakarta-commons-user&m=108144521711309&w=2
about proposal of "nested" attribute on 'field'.
I think it is very good idea - it will cover cases:
- form A has a subForm B (so <field property="mySubFom" nested="typeB"/>;
- form has a indexed property which is complex and can be described by form (so
<field indexedListProperty="myIndexedNested" nested="typeNestedX"/> + normal
validator for form "typeNestedX".
"nested" attribute follows OOD and it shouldn't be difficult to implement in
current validators.
