[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7478) Restore AOO's bugzilla auto-linkification of "bug NNNN" comments

Mark Thomas commented on INFRA-7478:
------------------------------------

This feature was a hand crafted patch already. I should be able to modify it to handle issue nnnn and bug nnnn if you prefer.

> Key: INFRA-7478

> Project: Infrastructure

> With the patch for INFRA-7463 the term" bug" was renamed to "issue", because the OpenOffice project uses bugzilla also for tracking features or enhancements. This had the unfortunate side effect that bugzilla's auto-linkification for "bug NNNN" comments stopped working. The QA team asks for it to be restored.
> Looking at the bugzilla source code using both terms isn't possible without writing a hook. For now reverting the first "bug" entry in the variables.none.tmpl file from "issue" back to "bug" should suffice. I could provide a patch against plain bugzilla or against the patched bugzilla, whatever is preferable.
