[jira] Created: (MYFACES-1291) Increase Performance w/ Pluggable Serialization

Increase Performance w/ Pluggable Serialization
-----------------------------------------------

         Key: MYFACES-1291
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1291
     Project: MyFaces Core
        Type: Improvement

    Reporter: Dennis Byrne
 Assigned to: Dennis Byrne

This should happen with dynamic class loading or via an interface, as discussed here:

http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=81641

Could be as simple as storing a factory in application scope at startup.

That's not true any more. In fact, it would never make it out of
incubation if it still had LGPL anything. Those have all been
removed or replaced.

Just wanted to clarify.

Hi Dennis,

regarding your licensing issue, there is a 3rd party licensing policy
*draft* from Cliff.
Also there is a legal-discuss list <at> apache.

I read on struts list (or legal discuss) that WebWork, which is in
incubation, depends on LGPL stuff (js files)
