[jira] [Updated] (NIFI-10773) Create Chatroom or Manual Bulletin Board Messages

Marcus Ely updated NIFI-10773:
------------------------------
    Priority: Minor (was: Major)

> Create Chatroom or Manual Bulletin Board Messages
> -------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: NIFI-10773
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-10773
> Project: Apache NiFi
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Core UI
> Reporter: Marcus Ely
> Priority: Minor
>
> There are sometimes instances where multiple users need to communicate while working on the same NiFi cluster. In my team, we use other chatting solutions, but when there are flow breaking issues, it would be convenient to be able to quickly communicate with team members (ie, making announcements of the issue, or whether or not it is currently being addressed to avoid multiple users colliding & attempting to make changes in the same places).
> I am requesting some type of inter-cluster communication solution be added to the NiFi UI. This could simply be a separate section in the 'NiFi Bulletin Board' where users can post announcements/statuses (preferably with notifications within the UI), or it could be a global chatroom where all users within the cluster can communicate. I imagine this can become a very large effort, but I also think this can be broken down and begun with baby steps (ie, the option for manual posting within the bulletin board with an 'announcements only' filter).
