[jira] [Created] (CAY-1945) cgen: allow user-defined classes / utilities in entity templates (Ant)

John Huss created CAY-1945:
------------------------------

Summary: cgen: allow user-defined classes / utilities in entity templates (Ant)
                 Key: CAY-1945
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAY-1945
             Project: Cayenne
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Non-GUI Tools
    Affects Versions: 3.2M1
            Reporter: John Huss
            Assignee: John Huss
            Priority: Minor

It would be useful to be able to inject user-defined classes / utilities into the templates for generating java classes for the entities in a DataMap. This simplifies complex templating tasks that would otherwise require Ant macros.

For example, I have a set of templates to generate Objective-C classes for my entities, and this benefits from additional utility methods.
