epoz 1.02 & bitflux

hi!

can anybody help me installing epoz and bitflux together with lenya1.2rc2. I
used it together with jetty (lenya bin-version).

I installed epoz into the follwing directory:
build/lenya/webapp/lenya/resources/epoz/.

For the bitflux editor I used build/lenya/webapp/lenya/resources/bxeng.

Together with Opera 7.23/Mozilla 1.6 (Linux) I am not able to edit anything or
save anything using epoz.

Bitflux just gives me the following message together with Mozilla 1.6:
You need JavaScript enabled. Otherwise nothing at all works here.

What do I have to do to get them work?

btw:
Using the form-editor works without any trouble. As soon as I use "localhost"
instead of "127.0.0.1" I get the following message:
Internal Server Error
Message: Failed to convert address [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1]:
Description: org.apache.lenya.ac.AccessControlException: Failed to convert
address [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1]:
Sender: org.apache.cocoon.servlet.CocoonServlet
Source: Cocoon Servlet

Any hints are very welcome.

bye
wolfgang

both files ARE the same (I made a diff on them). I also compared "my" index.html
and http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/index.html. They are also the same.

In the JavaScript-Console I just can find the following stuff (during I tested
it standalone):
Error: bildwechsel is not definded
Error: bildreset ist not defined

I also found some other error during "playing":
Error: cssr has no properties
Source File: http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/js/bxeFunctions.js
Line: 1245

But this seems to be another problem.

is there anything else I can do?

it seems to me that the XSLT still hasn't been resolved properly.
At least people which are using Jetty still seem to have problems.

(I currently don't have problems with Tomcat and Xalan 2.5.0)

we still haven't got 1.2 out, so this wouldn't be correct.

we are still in the release candidate phase.

As soon as we have 1.2 out, we can start counting up 1.2.x

How much effort would it be to create 1.2RC3 now?

I belong to those who like to use a defined basis for my work.

Cheers,
Andreas

BTW: I perhaps would name it 1.2.3 instead of 1.2RC3 (1.1.3 would be better but
unfortunately we can not go back in time).

yes, it's disabled. no problem ;)

ok. next step. compare
http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/examples/uni/index.html and "your"
index.html. They should be, at least until the first <body> tag, quite
similar. Especially look for the <noscript> tag in "your" index.html.

Furthermore, check the JavaScript-console, if there are any errors
reported there.

Sorry, if this message is posted two times.

I tried bitflux online (http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/) and offline (started
index.html in the bitflux directory). The editor starts and I can modify
content. I tried to modify the third example (university)- it works - except
saving - this throws an exception.

Bitflux seems to work together with "my" Mozilla 1.6 but not together with
lenya.

crazy!

Can't imagine, since I tested it on Linux as well ;)

Can you check, if the demo at http://cvsdemo.bitfluxeditor.org/ works in

JavaScript is enabled. Other sites work fine.
I also have Mozilla 1.2.1 installed. I get the same error-message with that
version.
Maybe this due to linux?

BXE works on Mozilla 1.6. It's the recommended release ;)

The error message you got is in a <noscript> element. Therefore either
something is either completely borked somewhere or you simply have
Javascript disabled (but then again, even the Lenya menus wouldn't work..)

You did check that JavaScript is enabled in Mozilla?

Try Mozilla 1.5. There have been multiple issues with JavaScript in
1.6.
