Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-932:
---------------------------------------

This is a [known issue with FreeRDP 2.0.0-rc4|https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/issues/5101], as well as some older release candidates / snapshots. It was fixed with [FreeRDP commit 635b17d|https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/5104/commits/635b17d0a177cb73eb606f8c901bbbb7b6e75e48] on 2018-12-05.

> As [recently reported on the user@ mailing list|https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/guacamole-user/202001.mbox/%3C243547547.16430215.1579533990157%40mail.yahoo.com%3E], it appears that RDP connections to Windows Server 2003 that worked as expected with older versions of Guacamole no longer function with {{staging/1.1.0}} due to failures in security negotiation.
> If this is the case, the cause of the failure should be corrected such that things continue to work. If it is not possible to achieve this while also automatically negotiating RDP security, it may be necessary to revert the "security" parameter to its old default of "rdp".
