Thanks for pointing this out, [~swagle]. I believe SpillFile is only used server-side (although I'm not 100% sure on that). I would expect that we typically want to use the configured temp dir on a server to do spilling like this. However, it might also be useful to be able to configure it separately in some cases -- have you got a case like this? If so, could you create a new ticket for this?
