   @JonathanKessler The PR does not appear to provide any documentation for the user which explains to them that this exists, how to configure it (nifi.properties/etc...).  Take a look at the admin guide or other guides for an example.  http://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/administration-guide.html#component-status-repository
   
   You'd want to update that to include awareness of your new implementation and how one could configure it to use it.  It would be good to highlight that it is new/experimental and which OSes it has been verified on thus far for example.
