Apache 1.3.14 build
I am trying to build apache v.1.3.14 with Mod_perl v. 1.24 using APACI
I am using Perl 5.6 build 620 - the latest
I ran perl Makefile.PL under mod_perl-1.24 directory
The system created Makefile in support,regex..... directories
but terminated prematually with warning message for "Apache Version 1.3.0
required, aborting......"
Any body knows why?
Should I go back to Apache 1.3.0?

Try using the latest mod_perl as well.

you need version 1.24_01 to use apache 1.3.14

Use the cvs version of mod_perl or one of the recent snapshots, the
version number definition in Apache changed recently causing confusion
in older mod_perl versions.

They say mod_perl 1.24_01 (not 1.24) is to be used with apache 1.3.14

You need mod_perl 1.24_01. Please read the weekly summaries by Geoff :)
