This is probably a useful feature, but if it works then that certainly is not by
intention. I assume it only works because you are using dynamic selection lists.
For static selection lists (i.e. those defined directly in the form definition)
this definitely won't work.

If we want to add this feature, we should clearly define the allowed content
model of the wd:selection-list element, so that it can be supported consistently
in different selection list implementations.
