   I also encountered the same error one month ago after the forward pass. However, I reinstall the mxnet today and it works fine for me. I also test that mxnet-cuda100 also works now. 
   
   My System setup:
   ubuntu 18.04
   cuda 9.2, cuda 9.1, cuda 10.0 installed
   cudnn v7.3.1 for linux
   
   GPU: RTX 2080
   CPU is AMD Ryzen 2600
   RAM: 16GB
